Choosing a bitrate
- 128 kbps — smallest files, good for voice recordings and lecture notes.
- 192 kbps — a balanced choice for podcasts, interviews, and everyday listening.
- 320 kbps — the highest quality available, useful for music or recordings that will be edited again.
A higher bitrate does not always sound dramatically better. For spoken word, the difference between 192 and 320 kbps is often hard to hear, especially on ordinary earphones.

Keeping audio files tidy
Use a filename that includes the topic and date. If you manage many episodes, a folder per series helps. Check duration and bitrate in your player before sharing the file, and make sure you have permission to redistribute it.
Remember that download links last only 10 minutes and server files are cleaned up after 30 minutes. Keep a local copy if you want to listen later.
